Why trust us

Our rules for a repair you cannot find later

No reviews on this site yet: a company this new has none to show, and an invisible patch is its own review.

  • Match the texture

Orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel or smooth, matched to the existing wall before paint.

  • Feather the patch

Three coats, sanded, feathered wide enough that the repair disappears under paint.

  • Control the dust

Plastic, a vacuum sander and a cleanup; drywall dust in the house is a sign of a careless crew.

  • Patch over a wet wall

Water-damaged drywall is dried or replaced; a patch over damp board grows mold behind it.

  • Skip the primer

A patch painted without primer flashes through the finish; the primer is part of the repair.

  • Hang new board over a bad frame

Bowed studs and loose fasteners are fixed before the board goes up.

Middle Tennessee

Settling houses, humid seasons and the cracks they leave behind

Middle Tennessee humidity swings hard between seasons, and that movement is what opens the same ceiling crack every year in a lot of Nashville houses.

A great deal of the housing built here since 2000 was finished fast, and nail pops across a whole wall are usually the sign of framing that dried out after it was boarded.

Storm season means we see a lot of ceiling work after roof leaks — and the honest answer is often that the roof has to be fixed before the ceiling is worth touching.

FAQ

Questions before a drywall or ceiling repair

How much does drywall repair cost in Nashville?

Drywall repair in Nashville is priced by the repair — a patch, a ceiling section, a water-damaged wall — with the texture match and the paint as their own lines; a whole-room hang and finish is priced by the square foot.

How fast can you get someone out?

A repair visit in Nashville is usually within a few days; small patches are done in one visit with a return for the finish coat, and a ceiling section takes two or three.

What areas do you cover?

Drywall contractors serving Nashville also cover Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville; the range is 65 towns in 12 counties.

Are you licensed and insured?

Every drywall crew we run carries liability insurance on file with us, and the crews doing full hangs hold the Tennessee contractor’s license the job value requires.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No — free, written, and no obligation.

What if something goes wrong afterwards?

Send the form; the workmanship is backed in writing.

Why do I have nail pops across a whole wall?

The framing behind is moving — usually lumber drying and shrinking in a newer house, or seasonal humidity change in an older one. The fastener backs out and pushes the compound off. The correct repair is to drive a screw an inch or two away to re-anchor the board, remove or reset the popped fastener, then patch both. Simply refilling the hole means it pops again.

Why does the same crack keep coming back?

Because it is movement rather than a finish failure. Cracks recurring in the same place — typically above a door or window, or along a ceiling-wall joint — mean the structure flexes there. Patching alone will not hold. The repair needs tape across the joint, or in some cases a control joint, and the underlying cause is worth checking if it is widening rather than stable.

Can a drywall repair be made invisible?

On a flat wall, yes — properly taped, feathered wide and sanded, a patch disappears under paint. Two things make it visible: matching an existing texture, which is a skill and rarely perfect, and painting only the patch, because surrounding paint has faded and the new paint will not match. Painting corner to corner is what makes repairs truly invisible.

What causes a stained ceiling and can it just be painted over?

Water, from a roof leak, a plumbing leak or condensation — and the stain will bleed straight through ordinary paint. Find and fix the source first, let the area dry fully, then seal with a stain-blocking primer before painting. Painting over a damp stain without sealing means it reappears within weeks, which is the most common failed DIY drywall repair.

How long does drywall repair take?

A small patch is often done in one visit but needs compound to dry between coats, so a proper job over a larger area is usually two or three visits across several days. Rushing the drying is what causes cracking and shrinkage later. Texture matching and painting add another visit. Anyone offering to patch, texture and paint a large repair in one afternoon is skipping a stage.
